The Serengeti National Park in Tanzania attracts numerous visitors due to the Great Migration. From October to November, over a million Wildebeests and hundreds of thousands of Zebras migrate from the north to the south, where the vegetation is lush during the Short Rains. Then, after the Long Rains of April to June, the Migration heads back northwards. Despite obstacles like crocodile-infested rivers, the herds' ancient instincts are unstoppable. Though some perish, around a quarter of a million calves are born, ensuring the perpetuity of this incredible cycle.
