Details Of 3-Day Tanzania Camping Safari Itinerary

DAY - 1: ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA

You will be picked up from the airport by a Kanje representative and conveyed to your accommodation in Arusha. Here you will overnight, relax, and prepare in anticipation of the adventures to come. You'll stay at Arusha Planet Lodge that is an oasis of calm and aesthetic pleasure.

DAY - 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Tour Description: On the first day of your Tanzania Safari, you will visit Tarangire National Park. Known for its diverse wildlife and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers a unique safari experience. You will embark on game drives to explore the park's vast savannahs, riverine habitats, and seasonal marshes. Keep an eye out for the park's large elephant population, along with other animals such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species.

Distance and Time: The distance from the starting point (usually Arusha) to Tarangire National Park is approximately 120 kilometers (75 miles), which takes around 2-3 hours by road, depending on traffic conditions. Inside the park, the distance covered during game drives will vary depending on wildlife sightings and the areas you explore.

DAY - 3: TARANGIRE TO NGORONGORO CRATER

Tour Description: On the second day, you will visit the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's most stunning natural wonders. The crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world and is home to an incredibly diverse array of wildlife. Prepare for breathtaking panoramic views as you descend into the crater and explore its grasslands, forests, and soda lakes. Look out for the "Big Five" (lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos), as well as cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, and countless bird species.

Distance and Time: The distance from Tarangire National Park to the Ngorongoro Crater is approximately 140 kilometers (87 miles), which takes around 3-4 hours by road, depending on the route taken. Once inside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, it will take about 1-2 hours to reach the crater rim, where you'll begin your descent into the crater. DAY - 4: LAKE MANYARA THEN ARUSHA

Tour Description: On the third day, you will visit Lake Manyara National Park, a small but scenic park known for its diverse ecosystems and abundant birdlife. The park is situated at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and offers a picturesque setting. Enjoy game drives through the park's woodlands, and grassy plains, and along the shores of Lake Manyara. Keep an eye out for tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and the famous flocks of flamingos that inhabit the lake.

Distance and Time: The distance from the Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara National Park is approximately 60 kilometers (37 miles), which takes around 1-2 hours by road. Inside the park, the distance covered during game drives will depend on the areas you explore and the wildlife sightings.

After the day's activities in Lake Manyara National Park, you can either return to Arusha or continue your journey to other destinations as per your travel plans.
